Cheap Plastic Laundry Lampshade Gets a 5 Mins Makeover

Our laundry room is almost the smallest room in the house. This cheap, white plastic light fitting that was here when we bought the house was not doing it for me. I got the steps out today and just pegged some wooden clothes pegs around the edge of the shade and it is surprising the difference it made in this small space. Only supplies needed were a packet of cheap wooden pegs and a step stool to reach the lampshade. Take them off when you get bored with it or run out of pegs! You could also use plastic colourful pegs instead of the wood for a pop of colour.
