Fall flower of the day - Japanese Anemone, Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' is in bud in my garden now hardy from
Zone 4-8, I have seen it in the south, northeast and pacific northwest, some bloom in late summer, others into fall- full sun to part shade

I am visiting a friend in Connecticut and have just been admiring her Honorine Jobert. Must be very happy this year because hers are nearly 6 feet high.
