These are all new bricks and need some ideas on what to do with them. I know I'll brick in all my raised flower beds. And brick in my burn pit. But what can I do with the rest?? Anyone have some other ideas?? Thanks in advance, Johnny Appleseed

Bricks laid on a slant for edging flower beds? / /

@K Arnold If you use them for edging, slanted (curves are difficult) or upright (easier and taller) be sure to support them on both sides with a bricklaying down. On the lawn side they would be a lawn mower track to trim and mow at the same time.

Lucky you! Take it these are for exterior use. I, too, thought about Terri's suggestions. Do you have a trade/swap venue in your area? Maybe you could swap or sell what you don't need.

You can make some garden bricks. Paint them to look like books and stand them up on their ends and one laying down. Give them the names of your favorite books. You can glue a coffe cup with saucer on one laying down for a bird feeder. You could also paint some and use them for door stops.

If there are enough of them, use them to make a gabion wall. This is a wire cage filled with bricks, stones or tiles (or anything you like really). They can be used with a wooden top as a bench or table, used to make feature walls and so on. The cages can be bought in pieces at the hardware store and clip together. Look up 'gabion' online and see many interesting and decorative examples.

Please don't forget to use the wooden pallets also! Or if you have no use for them give them to someone who can use them. They are one of the handiest things to make things from, even if it's just a frame for plants to grow over. :)
