There should be a label or stamp on the underneath side. How old is it?

I don't know the answer but if you find out let me know. Mine has the numbers 233 scrawled in crayon underneath. There is veneer under the removable glass top tray on top and I'm guessing it's around the 1920's

The table is assembled with machine made pointed slotted screws so it's after 1850 Handmade slotted screws before then were blunt pointed.

It looks similar to tables I purchased in the 1970s made by Century. The design was based on Oriental lines. They were very expensive at the time.

I'd guess either century or Drexel heritage as Drexel also was famous for their Asian inspired furnishings.

@B~ Bombay stores started in 1978 the carved table is early 1900's. I have no idea of the smooth table. You may be correct about that.

Several furniture companies have made this type of table as it is a classic Asian Design with Ming legs. I have one very similar although, it is square, from the late 70's or early 80's. I think the manufacturer was Broyhill but I couldn't find a name on mine either, just what appears to be an item number and "Made in USA" stamp. Good luck on your identification. This design has also been popular since Asian design began appearing in Western Europe several centuries ago. It is still made today and remains a timeless design never appearing outdated. The clean lines and distinctive legs work with almost any design style.

Thank you all for your comments. It may remain a mystery, but at the end of the day it is still beautiful and we love it.
