Our Quiet Partner iii dishwasher (purchased in 2007 or 08) was moved when new floor was installed.

Now, the "clean" light keeps flashing. When I press "cancel" it sets timer for 2 minutes, counts down, and then the light starts blinking again. Ideas that could be causing this?

Have you run some regular cycles through this since it was re-installed?

I ran a glass cycle through and it seemed OK, but locked up on the "Clean" light cycle. It will run cancel for 2 minutes, and then it's locked in the clean light cycle again. Turned off breaker for at least 20 minutes and it still didn't change. Keypad is totally locked up.

As is the case with "higher tech" devices the more complex..the more prone to problems. I would put a call in to the manufactures Q+A hotline and see what they recommend...it may be a common problem and they have worked out a fix...my gut tell me its a "control board" issue...which is not very DIY.

It was an easy fix, once we got the right serviceman. He didn't even have to come to the house. He had me press a series of the buttons, and then the cancel a couple of times and it worked. We got NO help from Whirlpool support, and it was such an easy issue! We weren't even charged for it. The original serviceman said we needed a new panel and for the price we already put into it, we figured we were looking for a new machine. Thanks for your input.

So this must have been some type of "global reset" ...cool...glad you got it squared away...and did not have to pay to do it.
