We had a small fire on our front porch, which left soot all up the stucco walls. We used a compressed air paint sprayer filled with peroxide (we practically depleted the supply of peroxide in the whole city! lol), from the top in sweeping motions across the walls, to the bottom, and left it to dry. The peroxide took about 99% of the soot off the walls. We found out the hard way, NOT to scrub it or rub it with anything, as it just makes it more ingrained. Hope you find something that works for you. Annette :)
