A Painted Bench

Country Chic Paint
by Country Chic Paint
Kristy from Robb Restyle has been upping her curb appeal with a front porch makeover, and this three seater bench in Bliss is the perfect addition!
This project helped bring some beachy-cottage style to my front porch entry. If ever there was a color that filled my entire being with happiness, it is this Country Chic Paint color. Little wonder it’s called Bliss. I used nearly my entire pint on this project so I will be ordering more very soon!

This old mahogany three-seater has been hanging around the house for years. I love the little folding seats and imagine it was once part of a larger group inside a quaint little church filled with singing children and adults every Sunday long ago. I tried working this bench into a few different rooms, but it takes up a great deal of wall space. Eventually, it ended up on the front porch… and there it remained through a long Indiana winter.
But alas, spring arrived and with a little help from Country Chic Paint I was able to bring the bench back to life and brighten my entire front entry at the same time. As you can see, this color pairs well with yellow.
I even added a few numbers using a stencil for some extra vintage character. And with a little paint left, I dip-dyed my woven planters too!
If you haven’t tried the color Bliss yet, I challenge you to find a treasure to paint this summer… It is minty-fresh with a hint of aqua. You won’t be disappointed.
