French Provincial Dresser Makeover

My latest dresser was made over in a beautiful cherry red and chocolate & stained top. I love how her new "outfit" turned out. You can see more here... http://www.vintagecharmrestored.com/?p=1137

Hi,..I have the full bedroom set of Thomasville, and all I've seen is that awful chalk paint,in every color in the rainbow,so it's been sitting patiently waiting for an idea... then I saw this! Gorgeous!!! Very creative! I'd really like to just strip it but it would be so time consuming... ..maybe you've inspired me... .

@Jmarie813 I didn't use chalk paint for mine. I actually used leftover paint from re-doing my dining room - sanded between coats, distressed it & waxed it. I'm a die-hard "use what you have" DIY'er. I say go for it! If you click on my name you can see the table and dresser I did - without using costly chalk paint (and from what I can see - it doesn't require any less work when you go for the special paints).
