Is it acceptable to put the same tile throughout different rooms?

I am thinking of getting the same (self-stick) because I'm poor, tile for several not connected rooms in my house. Is that too boring?

No using the same flooring makes a space look more spacious.

I think it would look just fine, different scatter rugs would make a difference

I did a faux paint on my bathroom floor by using tape, sponge on several shades of paint, remove tape and it's done until I get more money. I also collect river rocks and beach pebbles and plan on using adhesive to stick them to the floor then I will grout. Cheap, easy and custom floor! Otherwise, I agree, same colour tiles is fine.

New homes are often built with tiles flooring throughout, except for the lounge and bedrooms where there would be carpet. I would put different tile in your bathroom(s) and keep the same tiles everywhere else. If you stick something neutral it will make the space look bigger and also work with any décor you put on your walls. Tile is practical for anyone who has kids or pets and easier to clean than carpet.

I used self-stick tiles on several of our rooms (including the kitchen) and they worked great. It's been at least 10 years and they are just now starting to wear out. Just make sure you start at the middle of the room along a straight line.
