I have this gate I would like to use in my yard, does anyone have any ideas on how I can use this? I would really appreciate it as I've drawn a blank some fresh eyes would help.

I would place 4 poles, wood or metal, into the ground and mount this at the top of the poles on it's side and use like a pergola. Put a bench under it and plant vines that would climb for shade. I think this would be cute if it were painted a wonderful color!

If you can weld things to it then I would get a lot of old vintage or rusty tools such as rakes, scythes, spades and even bike parts and bits of old lawnmower - the hand push ones with the rotary blade - that type of thing - and get someone to weld them onto these gates to make a decorative piece of fencing or sculpture for the garden. I have something similar in my garage that I aim to do this to.

Am thinking it would be ideal for beans to climb on. (I love beans!) So many varieties - could provide colour as well as food.. Or you could anchor it beside a patio and use a climbing flower to provide privacy, scent, etc.

Find some containers to hook on the rails and make a vertical garden...recycled milk jugs with the handle cut to hang on would be great!

Use it as a support frame and BOARD it UP..... Use it as a focal point in the yard for planters..... move the whole thing if you get tired of where it is If you need a handrail for walking up steps... cut it in half turn the cut end down.... Safety or handrail.....
