I have been fighting them for years. I used to grow around 100 tomatoes a year. It was intensive to cut old panty hose sections, then take tie ties to make pouches around the newly formed green tomatoes. That seemed to work for me to keep them off. One year a friend wrote that the bugs were literally eating through the hose. I have not had that problem. I hate to use pesticides because it eventually gets into my body through the proudce. I am looking for an organic solution. Some say pluck them off, put them in a blender of water and cyanne pepper and then spray that on your plants. I have not tried this technique. I also am looking for a biological control like we use on the cabbage looper green worms that invade the corn and cabbage type plants, but nothing yet. I know your pain with these nasty bugs.

Terminix sprayed our motorhome about once a month for three months. See one every now and then. Flush them.
