Decorating Outdoor Spaces

Summer is my favorite season of all - warm weather, long days and relaxing outdoors. We enjoy our patio, gazebo/grape arbor and barn patio area more than being indoors this time of the year. And I love decorating our outdoor living spaces just as much as I love decorating indoors.
accent pillows
Colorful accent pillows are an invitation to get comfy and kick back with a frosty glass of lemonade. I like lots of pillows to soften things up.
grape arbor/gazebor
Our grape arbor/gazebo is filling in nicely, sheer curtains add a bit of romance.

Seating areas encourage conversations and the chance to catch up with friends.

Planting flowers breathes life and color into outdoor living areas. This year it's shades of yellows, oranges, pinks and reds.

Having a dining area near the grill and kitchen door = lots of outdoor dining.

More seating. We entertain a lot during the warmer months, my favorite time of year.

A candle sconce bird feeder - a conversation starter!

The bistro set gets a colorful makeover.

A bundt pan serves as an umbrella/patio table centerpiece/planter.

Fun planters add a whimsical touch.

Curtains on the patio swing/daybed.
A MUST HAVE for enjoying outdoor spaces! DIY Chemical/DEET free bug spray for the mosquito magnets in the family. See my blog post for more details on how we decorate our outdoor living areas.

I love it all. I love the color of blue you used on all the pots and the tire (cleverly done) . The gazebo is fantastic and with the curtains it truly is romantic. Great job.

Anyone, ANYONE? Know where the arbor came from? I have been searching everywhere. Also been searching for iron “arches" to go over my windows as arbors, and iron “window box” holders to hold window planters. Cannot find anywhere. If anyone knows PLEASE tell me. I love DIY, but can’ weld ! ;-) leighanne996@2 results are available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate.yahoo.com

Wow, great selection. And, the prices aren’t that bad. Especially for some of the decorative stuff like the wrought iron shutters. Thank you very much. I’ve bookmarked the site for future reference.
