Ideas for bathroom ceiling

My bathroom ceiling is currently papered - but cracked and uneven and I don't have time to strip properly. Looking to put up tiles perhaps but there is a snag - the ceiling has a curve....any ideas??

Have you seen those 'tin ceiling' tiles? They have them at Lowe's in a variety of colors. A lot of people use them for a back splash but I think they'd be a nice ceiling, and they are flexible so they might work for you.

@Martha Hinkle Thanks for all the replies guys - several really nice ideas here - I have to say Martha that I really like the idea of the tin panels - quite glamorous!

We have small bathrooms, but my husband and I covered ours in 4'x8'vinyl panels we got from Lowe's. They sell the finishing pieces in 8' lengths to use as edging or connecting the panels. It was easy to use, cut and adhere. It looks very nice. It comes in several designs.
