Concrete Porch Redo

I’ve been working on updating my curb appeal for the while also living my life! For this installment I will tell you about my porch (concrete slab).
Porch before, with chipped paint
Rustoleum Concrete Stain kit

I saw a product from Rustoleum Concrete Stain and thought perfect! I bought the kit and had it tinted with the color Clay Pot. It looked like a coppery color and I love my metal colors! I took the box home and got to work. I swept the porch and then mixed the etch. I sprayed the etch and scrubbed and rinsed. Some of the previous paint did not come of but I like when things look distressed and thought the left over paint might give it that kind of look.
OMG! PEACH!

I called Menard’s and they said I could bring it back in and the could add some more color or even give me a new box. I did some internet research and found that once you stain concrete, if you stain again, your color will not really ever come out the color you are looking for. I then figured GREAT! now I’m out $100. I then called Menard’s back and they said to bring back the entire kit and they would refund my money and help me to pick out new paint. Thank goodness!
