Take a $10 storage cube from Target or Wal-Mart and recover with just a yard of fabric and staple gun. We use ours in our bathroom as a place to sit while bathing the kids. And the lid comes off to store our extra bath toys.

    This could work in a children's playroom, storage in the kitchen and/or sewing room, footstool for the living room or parlor, outside on the deck instead of those ugly plastic bins... It all depends what you cover the box with in the first place. I
