Auction Find Gets a Summery Coral Glow

I found this cute table at a local auction! When I saw those cut out details, I knew I had to have it - even though it had seen many better days! I think it must have been stored in a barn and had paint dripped all over it! But, I knew with a good cleaning and some fresh paint - it would look amazing!
I won the table for just $15 - yay! I took it home, cleaned it up, and went to find the perfect paint color! I knew I wanted a coral shade and found just what I wanted with Benjamin Moore's Coral Gables.
After the first coat, my son said it looked like Pepto Bismol!!! But, the second coat really brought out the true coral shade! I just love how it turned out!
Here's a close up of those cut out details! They were kind of a pain to paint, but totally worth it!
I also had to share another recent find - this barn wood planter box with a leather strap handle! And, don't the coral petunias look perfect with the table!
This coral table has a new home on my screen porch!
