Goodwill Desk Makeover

My mom scored this desk at Goodwill a couple months back for $30.00. I gave it new life with paint! Check it out!

Well, I guess I'm off to Salvation Army this weekend to look for an old desk. No more moving my machine downstairs to the dining room table. Thanks for sharing such a great idea!

Kelly S thanks for thinking of me. yes, I still havent done anything with my desk. Mine has a lot more detail and embellishment tho. It wil have to wait til spring, I have no where to work on it except in the entry way, and it is sooo heavy I cant move it by myself! But this sure looks good doesnt it? Tonya Diehl my desk is almost identical..it has a center drawer and federalist ? hardware. and more detail on the drawer fronts. A challenge! I love your chandelier!

Thanks so much everyone!!! Kelly S they floor lamp is old as well. I think my mom got it at an antique store. I'm not real sure....she has had it a long time! She just added a new shade to it.

Dang, they are hard to find around here, unless you want to pay full retail $$$ for it. I was hoping it was one of your saves so that I could copy cat it.lol I do have an old base with marble that needs rewired so I ould find/make the rest? Oh well another project after my craft/exercise room, laundry room/ 1/2 bath, and my bathroom are done. So much redo so little time.

Bernice H three ceilings painted, spare bedroom painted including all the trim, spare BR and craft/exercise room have new wood flooring, C/E room is painted. Once my hubby mills the baseboard it will get painted and installed. I still need to paint both closets and install 1 closet organizer. Painting the door trim and door tonight and tomorrow night. The closets will be done last because I have half the stuff from the C/E room ...»
in the spare BR. As you can see there is no room to clear the closet so that it can get painted until I move the buried drafting and sewing tables and file cabinet back into the C/E room.
