How To paint a metal roof?

I'm thinking of painting my metal roof and am looking for tips on the best ways to do this including any steps and/or product recommendations...Thanks!!

two things above all else. It must be CLEAN and DRY. I paint the " ribs first, usually by brush. Then roll the rest. Depending on the pitch of the roof, of course.

I would go to the manufacturer for this... aren't they supposed to be 50 years maintenance free?

I would speak with a tin roofing professional (the installing company) or the manufacturer (if you know who manufacturer is, of course). Do you want to paint it because color doesn't blend/show off the rest of the house? Or, is current paint peeling or something?
