Two Tone Vintage Rose Dresser

I picked up this sweet vintage dresser from Craigslist. It was pretty much love at first sight. I mean, just check out those curves on the front. Of course I dropped everything and went to pick it up. The woman who sold it to me apologized for the dust on the bottom. Dust? I can handle a little dust!
If I'm being honest, oak isn't my favorite wood, but this one was really pretty. I decided to give it an update that would highlight the wood.
I sanded and then stained the top and drawers with General Finishes java gel stain. I sanded and painted the rest with a custom white made with 50/50 mix of General Finishes antique white and snow white. I sealed the entire piece with a topcoat.
I pulled these pretty turquoise rose knobs out of my stash and put them on for the finishing touch.
