Bloom Where You Are Planted!

I love old washtubs! They are so much fun to repurpose. They are so wonderful for planting in. They can be pretty heavy when filled with dirt, so you always have the option of placing large pots inside. I was able to find this small metal "table" to bolt this onto. It is great for those who wish to garden but don't want so much bending and lifting.
This tub already had a few holes where water can drain through, which of course is a must. Rusted through tubs don't need to be overlooked though. They can always be sunk into the ground and used for planters also. A few older gardening tools can be added for some great accents too. I have a couple of other planter ideas on my blog, also.
Don't over look those old chicken waterers! The leakers work well for plants, and a cute stencil makes them a welcome addition to the garden.
This older display wagon just needed a little freshening up. A new coat of paint and a cute "Fresh Flowers" stencil and it was ready for a new life on someone's patio! It's the season to spruce up your outdoors, so think outside the box and plant!
