This year, I have decided to add to my gardens by seeds, bulbs, corms, and rhizomes only. Planted Surprise Lilies, Daylilies Crocosmias and Gladioli amongst other things. I planted Safflowers with my Sunflowers, Purple Coneflowers, Edelweiss, Flavescens Iris, Siberian Fag Iris, Cast Iron plants, Lilly of the Valley and Lemon Grass stalks in other areas. I'm super excited to see all the wonderful colors:-) My gladiolas have been planted just about every 2 weeks in order to keep them going. Many are in the grown where it only looks as if 4 or 5 are planted but its actually more than that. I also have crocosmias planted with the glads but they are taking longer to grow:-( I've done some stacking with the bulbs. Today, I've added German Bearded Irises (7/17) Hope all work out well for me. I'm just patiently awaiting their arrival too.
My children's little garden bed. They planted many bulbs and seeds in it. HOPING, WISHING and PRAYING that this garden bed fill in soon so that they could see the fruits of their labor. After they bloom, I'm going to move the ones planted near the dwarf camellia sasanqua bush.
Surprise Lily bulbs & Ditch Lily fans and bulbs.
I removed the grass. Skinned my thumb doing so, smh. My twins Jaden and Jordan dug holes and planted the 25 Flavescens Bearded Iris fans and 10 Siberian Iris fans. It'll look better once we add compost. I was told not to mulch but I'm going to mix a tad bit to the compost.

Thanks, keeping my fingers crossed. Had to redo kid's side garden since our dogs dug up the bulbs and seeds. I accidentally sliced a piece off of large amaryllis bulb. Will it die?
