Acrylic counter tops in a camper....

We purchased a fifth wheel last year, the counter tops, we were told were solid surface...well, I guess you could call them solid surface as they are apparently acrylic. My question, any ideas on how to maintain them? I'm afraid to set things on them, not sure what to use to clean them and make them sparkle...I have not had any dealing with acrylic anything. Are there products out there? Thanks for any info.....

I keep a wood cutting board nearby, stand up next to stove edge when we are settled in camping spot; then it's available to put any warm pan on, if needed.

Silicone pot holders are good to use as trivets for hot foods. They withstand heat up to I believe 450 degrees. I keep a couple by my stove for that purpose because I really don't like them as pot holders since they are kind of slippery. They don't take up much room and come in very handy. Do not use alcohol based cleaners on the counter tops. Acrylic and alcohol do not mix. There is a spray call "Counter Top Magic" that is sold at Lowe's and it give a nice clean shine to solid surface counter tops and might do the same for acrylic ones.
