Fireplace Surround Makeover

Last year I had redone my fireplace by staining the brick and that helped it look more appealing but when I used AirStone products for my fireplace surround I was excited to get the real look of stone for an inexpensive price. I give my full experience with this product below.

It looks great! Did you have to put something over the old brick first? It looks like you might have a skim coat down but I can't really tell from the photo. I want to reface my brick fireplace and don't know if I can go right over the brick.

what a gorgeous transformation. I have a dark brick veneer on my fireplace and didn’t know if it would be possible to cover with the stone. Yay. You’ve shown me it can be done, and does look great. Thank you.
