3po3 on Oct 15, 2011Satin is pretty typical for interior doors. I am a Sherwin-Williams man myself, but I'm sure Benjamin Moore's satin is good, too.Helpful Reply

Karen G on Oct 16, 2011Semi gloss is easier to clean than satin. But as long as it isn't flat or eggshell, satin or semi is a personal choice.Helpful Reply

Sandra U on Oct 16, 2011Semi-gloss and gloss are the easiest to clean if you ask me, but it seems almost any finish is suppose to clean well nowadays. If you buy flat enamel it gives you a flat finish that hides most of the flaws on your surface and is purportedly still easy to clean. So, I think it mainly depends on what kind of surface you are dealing with.Helpful Reply

Peace Painting Co., Inc. on Oct 17, 2011Pro-Mar is a very good acrylic alkyd at a very good price point. It flows out similar to oil-base with out future yellowing. I like the acrylic alkyds except your good brushes are almost impossible to get completely clean. CPHelpful Reply

Harold M on Oct 18, 2011One other thing to think about is what is your base and door trim painted with. My experience is if you do a door or somthing else, you start looking around and you come to the conclusion that the new paint makes everything else look old and in need of paint. My wife has tricked me before by doing this. You end up painting the whole room. Add in hallways, etc and pretty soon your painting the whole house HaHa. Keep on smilingHelpful Reply
