Outdoor Living: My tile is breaking up in my shower.

It has already been replaced once 2 years ago by a contracter but he didn't specialize in tile. Should I get a new tile contracter? Can I probably do it myself? Should I not use tile ...»
at all and go with something else?? I think there might be deeper problems underneath with the structure not being level or something?

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback!! Oddly enough while at Homearama yesterday I ran into ...»
a vendor I know in my business world who happens to do bathrooms and tiling so I talked to him for a while and I do think I have a leak below the tile that needs to be fixed first. When we had the home inspection before we moved in - this was one of the areas that failed and they supposedly fixed - apparently not. I am going to set up an appointment for him to come out in the next week or two. I will keep you guys posted. Is there any ball park figure for tearing out a shower floor from the bottom up you could roughly give me. 1000? 2000? just rough I know he has to look at to really determine what I need. Thanks again! I am liking this website already :)
