Painting with a Pro

Larry is an experienced painter with almost 40 years in the industry, and it was a great to hang with him on a job site. Larry has tons of tips and tricks about paint, primer and even the right tools for a successful project.
Larry doesn't always use Behr brand paint. In fact, his favorite brand is Sherwin Williams. However, This Behr interior flat enamel covered great and looks terrific.
Skimping on roller covers is a common DIYer mistake. Larry prefers Purdy Colossus roller covers because they hold a lot of paint, and the paint goes on smooth.
Cutting-in is probably the hardest part of painting, and Larry made it look easy. He prefers a 2-1/2" angle Purdy brush.

Great tips Ethan. Though I've never done it, I had no idea that tinting primer could reduce that adhesion capabilities of it. It makes sense though if you take time to think about it.
