How to get rust stain out of fabric

I stored a comforter in trunk and now it has a rust looking stain, I tried vinegar and resolve... I need another solution.

I have had good luck using Wink. I don't know if it is still available or if it would be safe for colored fabrics

Whink. It's in a copper colored plastic bottle. If you can't find it at the grocery store, try Home Depot or Lowe's. It's never failed to get rust stains out of fabric for me!

Had three spots on basement carpet where metal table legs caused small rust spots. Had a bottle of Windex in my hand from other cleaning, sprayed and let set a minute or two and they came right out. Surprised the heck out of me!

i find hydrogen peroxide gets most all stains out. Or a long soak in hot water (reheat if needed) with baking soda vinegar and borax...

Lemon juice and salt.rub in and allow to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse then wash with laundry soap.

There is a great product called WINK. The last bottle I bought was from Walmart. It works quickly. I've used it on fabric mostly, but it works well on porcelain and on rust stains on the shelves in our refrigerator too. Goose luck. :)

I love Wink, does anyone know if it works on colored fabric? I have a line of rust on my rug on the patio, I was afraid it might look bleached out.

Does anyone know if Wink works on vintiage clothing, I think its made out of linnen and silk.... I found this old trunk filled with beautiful vintage childrens clothing that were hand made... but they have brown rust stains... Do you think wink will work, if not what do you think will...
