Need help finding an architect and landscape professional

Purchased as older brick ranch built in 1978, 3 br, 2 ba,like to see about vaulting the ceiling and removing interior wall to create an open floor plan. Like to somehow make the outside look more arts and crafts or bungalow style, possibly add shed dormers to front of home. The home is located in Summerville, Ga. situated on 23 acres of rolling pasture. would also like to find a Landscape architect to help me develop a long term plan to lanscape about 2 acres around the house.
I KNOW THE antenna GOT TO GO!

I'll join the chorus singing the praises of Southern Trillium. As to the interior of your house, I suggest you live in it for at least a year before you undertake any major renovations.

If the roof is not framed w/ pre-engineered trusses, you can pull the ceiling joists out, furr down the rafters (to insulate) and add collar ties (new ceiling joists) up at a height for new ceiling. Extend the interior wall up to catch collar ties or add beams if you want to remove interior walls. I have done it often in Charlotte w/ our many brick ranches.

Craig, thats so much for the information, if I opt to vault the entire house, have you had clients that have added domers to the front and or back to increase ceiling height.

yes-you need to consider th eexisting pitch of the roof and shed dormers may be very flat pitched. When you open front to back, either the rafters need to be strong enough to not open up (we added 2x12 rafters to existing on one project and then did nnot need to furr for insulation) or you add a structural ridge that keeps the roof from dropping.
