Spring Decorating
Flower garden table...spring was finally here! I was having fun decorating with my dining room table with flowers, flowers, flowers: flower placemats,flower chargers, flower plates, flower bowls, flower centerpiece, flower candle holders, and flower pot napkin rings.
I love layering to add interest. I layer fabrics as well as ceramics. I started with a light teal tablecloth and added the lace table cloth over the top so the teal shows through.
The placemats bring in more colors. The runner is the same color as the legs of the table and the chairs.

The layering effect is also seen in the plates: flower chargers, yellow Fiesta, cream flower plate, and colorful plastic flower cup/bowls.
The Flip Flop Girlz business does home staging. This is an example of decorating and is NOT an example of staging. The best quote I've heard to explain the difference is this: "Decorating is personalizing. Staging is de-personalizing." Simply, this decor is too busy to be in a staged home but this is in my home for my personal viewing pleasure. :)
