@Erica, I believe those are Spanish Dagger (Yucca aloifolia)...They are quite common in landscaping where I live...and they get HUGE..:) -
Thanks for sharing. HOW BEAUTIFUL!!! -
This is some place I would love to visit! Here in the Northwest we Have Butchart Gardens in victoria BC, an old quarry made into paradise! I love that there are people who bring this loveliness to the public! Thanks! -
Go to City Park in New Orleans and see the hugh water lilies there. They are exactly like these. Quite unique and interesting. City Park has a lot of lovely spots to visit as well as the Museum of Art. -

Leida, I'm not sure which plant you're referring to. Can you post your question on the photo that has that plant in it? -

I do too! these are amazing! I've had little ones that come in shells that I've gotten many years ago while on vacation but I want one of these big ones :D -
Marg, about how many years ago did you get the ones in the shells. I have seen them, but I never paid attention to them because I didn't think they last. How often do you water them. -
This was waaaay back and many years ago. I don't have them anymore. But they lasted for several years and I never watered them :) -
Douglas, I didn't see any lilies? Leida R, do you see lilies? -
Marg, NEVER WATER THEM??? WOW!!! Those are the best plants. If like that, I wonder why then they are not so common in households? -
I got them in Souveniers Gift Shops. -
Douglas, I placed a question for you on pic # 2. -
