Upgraded Ceiling Fan Light Covers

Are you sick of those little frosted glass shade covers on your ceiling fans? I was. And I knew my husband wasn't going to switch out 2 ceiling fans just because I was tired of the shades. It took me awhile to figure out a solution for this, but I finally did.
I noticed these little pendant light covers online. They have adjustable necks with screws. Not knowing if this would really work, I just ordered a couple to test them out.
I took one of the old frosted covers off (you can see the old ones in the background below) and attached this one. You can see that where the light bulb screws in, there is a lip around it. This prevented me from sliding the pendant cover all the way down, but I was able to get it far enough on so that it would hold.
I tried this on both of the ceiling fans in my house, and it worked for both! I'm so happy to finally be rid of the frosted glass covers!

I like you're idea for the covers on the ceiling fans, where did you purchase them, may I ask?

I would, if I could get the answer that the previous people asked about where the materials were ordered from.

Where did you purchase the part that is used before putting on the cages. It's shown in the second picture above, and it seems that it was placed on before the cages? Or are they included with the cages??
