DIY Concrete Kit to Cover Ceramic Tile Countertops
by
Shellie
(IC: )
We had white ceramic tile as our countertops. It was impossible to keep clean with the huge grout lines. We hated it, but didn't have the dough to replace them and none of the paint over kits were suitable for tile. Enter http://www.encorecountertop.com/ After seeing a blog I read use it, we ordered a kit and got to work. It was a life saver!! One weekend of hard work and we now have solid surface counters with no yucky grout lines! It's amazing and I had to share :)
Enjoyed the project?

Crazy-our builders used the same EXACT tiles in our house built in 2006. I've been toying with doing concrete in kitchen (did it in bathroom and LOVE it). This way makes it soooo much easier to obtain that gorgeous look you now get to see everyday! Go you! Thanks for sharin!

Can you cover granite with concrete the same way?
Do you know why they discontinue the Encore products and is there a comparable product? I love how yours turned out.
