How to repair storm door

I have a white storm door on my patio and the exterior of the door has peeled to expose the inner core of the door. It is probably about 6 inches round. I don't want to replace the door can anyone advise me as to how I would repair this.

Not that they will like - best is to replace With that there is to much info missing - what type of material -aluminum or fiberglass. Why did it peel, what is the interior, is it in good condition...
