About Me:

I am a freelance writer and homemaker who lives in South Georgia. I have a passion for books, photography, and learning new things.

Favorite area of home improvement:

I am a newbie at all of this. Around Christmas time I painted my future stepdaughter's room. I think I did pretty good for a newbie. I am wanting to learn all I can in order to make our home the dream home we know it is deep inside.

  • The structure of the heavily laden peach tree. The left limb is the one that is dragging.

Gardening: Peach Trees.

One of my two peach trees is so heavily laden with peaches that I fear the limbs will break. They are hanging almost to the ground. My Master Gardner cousin told me to pick some of the peaches off and throw them away. I hate to do that. I wonder, if it survives the crop, if I need to prune it in a different way for next year. I had to get far back to photograph as the tree has blocked the back yard. I will post a close up of how the limbs are in such trouble. Tell me what you would do.

was wondering because the peaches have brown spots all over them. It sounds like I am about to break my own heart by picking early I guess :(

  • Great looking wheel chair ramp and non skid too.

One great example of the application of Q-deck non skid surfacing.

The owner was having problems with mold and mildew not to mention problems navigating in his wheel chair when wet.

My fairy tale style shed
