Porch Makeover On A Budget
We moved into our new house two months ago and for whatever reason this back porch JUST dawned on me as a makeover candidate! We had *some* furniture... a rattan chair, a cane loveseat and a couple of indoor/ outdoor carpet. I was also fortunate enough to snag a $20 coffee table at the Restore. But pulling all these disparate items together was the challenge! Oh, and it all had to be on a budget, obvy.
Here's how this porch looks now... NOTHING like it did a few weeks ago! Thankfully.
Here's what I had to begin with. Loveseat. Coffee table. Rattan chair. And this is one of the indoor/ outdoor rugs from our stash... Paint and fabric and Craigslist brought all of these items together!
I love the serenity of these color tones all together... my favorites.
You never know what you'll find on Craigslist, right? (Or how long it will sit in your garage before you find a spot for it...)
These two mismatched pieces sit at the end of the porch. They're really light weight so easy to move around the porch for extra seating.
I have a battery powered candle in there for the times we're out there at night.
