So I just move d to a new home after quite a few years of living with family after my divorce. When I moved, I started doing a few DIY projects. and I got an epiphany to do videos as I was in the middle of this projec.t. So I had this Ekby Alex Shelf from Ikea that I bought from my mother's house. I attempted to put it up in my children's area, but when I put a book up on the shelf, it fell... I did not want to put any more holes in my landlord's wall, so I decided I could use a Vanity.

So I went back to Ikea and bought 4 legs. But I hadn't thought of sharing the process till after I had placed the legs.

Step 1: Before picture! When it finally clicked for me to start recording the process.
Step 2: So next I got an old Mirror from the Goodwill and painted it with Behr semi Brilliant Primer and Paint. Then added Rose gold accents with Art Minds Metallic Rose Gold paint.

Step 3: I got some feather door knobs from Target. When I saw them they were tie inspiration for the entire paint job I used to transform the shelf. But The tips of the knobs were gold. and I wanted a rose gold accent, so I painted over the gold on the knobs.
Step 4: Once they were dried, I drilled some holes into the drawers and placed the knobs/Drawer Pulls.
Step 5: I used some Martha Stewart adhesive stencils and painted my rose gold feathers on the drawers only. making sure to tape off the edges of the drawers so it wouldn't get any paint on the edges.
Step 6: I placed the Mirror in two brackets and attached the back of the drawer.
This is the final product. You can see the entire process on YouTube Below.
