Barb, you did it again! This is stunning. I went to one of the most unique bridal showers ever a few years ago. Everyone was asked to bring a silk flower...any color, any design, small, large, single stem or bunched...no other gift. We enjoyed refreshments with the friends and neighbors of the bride while a guy took the flowers, cut them apart from the stem, used florist tape and extender sticks to the size he needed and constructed a beautiful large centerpiece for the bride to match the ...»
sort of Victorian style dinnerware she had chosen...one that had every flower and color in it. In honor of my much beloved grandfather who took us little girls violet picking every spring, I carried violets. Imagine my surprise when they went into the arrangement. Of all the bridal showers I have attended over the years, this is the only one I remember The little things I learned that day have served me well for years.
