From dresser to bathroom vanity?

I have a tiny bathroom and small budget but I would love to use an old dresser as my bathroom vanity. We are a new in this, can someone please share the steps for the plumbing ? Thanks in advance for your time...oh, one more thing, I need to use the drawers for bathroom stuff as much as is possible...thanks!
This is the dresser...I am planning to paint it as soon as I know I'll be able to use it in the bathroom..

Leonia, I can not help with the plumbing but the dresser can be painted any color you want you could even stencil a design on the front. Good luck.

depending on how you want your plumbing, if going straight down with drain pipe, you will need to cut drawers to look like a square upside down C ; I did it to one I had. Would to do it through all the drawers/ or if drain can go behind it , you would only need to do 1 drawer

If you've never done plumbing before, I urge you to spend the money on hiring one for this project. You could spend a lot of money in repairs if you do something wrong! I'm lucky! I am married to a plumber! (And still would't attempt anything myself!)

Unless a friend or family member knows how to put pipes together, mount a sink and attach faucets you're better off spending money to have a plumber do this. First, though, decide if you want an undermount or vessel sink and if you'll use the dresser top as the vanity top or if you'll replace it.

You will need to have someone cut the drawers to a size where the plumbing will fit behind them. You might want to think about doing a vessel sink.

We did this with a dresser we got from Habitat restore-from just looking at the picture you will probably need to carefully remove the drawer front from the drawer on the top drawer. You can glue it in back in place on the dresser front but it would probably be better to attach some type of "cleat" (guessing at the terminology) or even a couple of blocks of wood to turn and hold it in place. The second and third drawers may just need to have their depth shortened to accommodate the drain pipe. It seems much more intimidating than it really is-just take your time. I would agree on having and experienced plumber-friend or professional to do the actual plumbing work-a drip or leak will eventually destroy all your hard work.
