Restoring an old school desk

I refinished an antique school desk for a friend whose great great grandmother used it in the one room school house she taught at. My friend's grandmother stored it in a shed for decades and it was recently unearthed. Read more about how I learned to take it apart on my blog.

    Just found your school Desk renovation and wondered how the seat / back part were connected to the frame , I have aquired the end frames but no wood work and wish to renovate to as near original as possible , any information would be very helpful >
