Can I paint an avocado green cook top?

I'm moving in to a 70s house and have NO budget! It's icky and grungy but it works! Will appliance paint solve the problem?

Yes you can. You can buy heat resistant paint. Years ago I had a refrigerator painted at an auto painting place. It lasted till the frig died.

As Barb said, buy heat resistant paint, and be sure that's what you buy. I've redone a couple of stove/stove-tops. Good luck with your project, hope you enjoy re-doing it and afterwards :)
