How do I give a gold spray painted lamp a more burnished look?
-
Debi53 on Jul 01, 2015There are several options. You can use a dark wax, but be sure to use a clear wax first. You can also dry brush a darker paint or even 2 or 3 shades of deeper colors. A lot depends on the look you want to achieve. I would recommend painting a board with your brass color & then experimenting with different techniques until you get the look you want. If you really want a realistic look, buy a section of pipe & practice on this.Helpful Reply
