One more thing -Amazon sells dozens of coloring books for adults,I just heard that that is one of the biggest sellers online in case you are not quite ready to draw and just want to color.

Do you have a Hobby Lobby near by? You can start with a paint by numbers for adults. Or buy a beginners paint set, either for water colors or acrylics and a book with inspiration and directions. Some hobby stores have paint sets and DVDS for beginners so you can follow along.

There are painting classes in many community centers. You start by starting. I assume you have a creative heart, so just put brush to canvas and see what happens. You will be amazed.

Also, check online places for videos. YouTube naturally, but Craftsy.com has some good tutorials/classes that you can sometimes get for free. Not "hands on" with an instructor, but it's a place to start to maybe build some confidence up before taking an actual class.
