There are repellents that are semi effective but need reapplied every couple of weeks. I have had the best luck with fencing. My whole garden is surrounded by wooden dog-ear fence panels. We have rabbits in the yard but my garden is safe.

I've always heard that they don't like the smell of marigold flowers and if you border your garden with them they will stay away. Not sure if it is true or not but worth at least Googling it.

They ate my marigolds down to the nub! Try sprinkling them with cayenne pepper.

I put out the used little bars of soap that are left over, the rabbits will stay away. It worked for me. Good luck

I've heard moth balls repel rodents. I've use it to repel cats from spraying my flowers and it worked.

Rabbits aren't actually rodents and unless you want to make the rabbits sick I wouldn't use mothballs in case they try to eat them. Rabbits can get sick really easily. The best thing to do is to block off your garden with fencing that is too high to jump over (3 feet or more) or to cover it with netting. Rabbits also love clover and alfalfa so growing clumps of those may deter them from eating the stuff you want to eat.
