What color to paint?

Any idea on what color to paint this garage door. Should I go with the off-white or green? Can I get away with a totally different color?
This is the garage door of a rural property in Missouri.

I think a lot would depend on the colors on the house.

I'd be inclined to paint it so it becomes nearly invisible. By that, I mean to paint the lower portion of the door to match the lower part of the structure and the top portion to match the upper portion. When closed, the door would just "go away."

Whatever color you pick - paint the window frames the same color. Personally I would go with a high contrast color.

What is wrong with White? Make the door stand out. Spice it up with green shutters on the windows.

I agree with Swan Road -- but I might also paint the shutters in the bottom color.
