Hello There,
Because my wife and I have long planned to renovate our bedroom and remodel, we have now gradually put it into action.
I have deliberately refrained from any previous images, there would just be too many pictures.
It all started with the lining of the roller shutter box in our bedroom.
The transformation of this dresser is one of them.

The Deco-wing I have already once made of wood.
Added is the mirror which has been redesigned.

This wardrobe was broken.

Some parts of the wardrobe are installed for another project. But more on that in a separate post.
The walls were painted with clay paint on rough plaster. This has the advantage that can breathe the walls and thus a better indoor climate.

It also looks great when the light breaks, because our walls are not uniformly coated.
Next we have a solid base set with 21 mm thick roughcast.
Being stroked and oiled, so the result is a beautiful patina white.
The cloakroom on the left is from the Scandinavian furniture manufacturer.

The clothes rail right, we have assembled from pipes and dowelled to the wall.

The pipes and fittings are available in various thicknesses.

The wall is actually partially repainted, where the closet once stood.

Since we also need storage for sweaters etc., we opted for apple crates.

These are ground ...
and then painted with a coating / wiping technique. That is, it is previously mixed color with water, and then diluted. Then the color is not so uniformly applied with a brush and then blurred with a cloth.
Thereafter, they are fastened to the wall.

The crates are lined with felt, so that the textiles do not lie on bare wood.
So the new clothes wall in the final result looks as if the boxes are floating on the wall.

Do you like it?
