Landscape Design- Pairing Colors & Textures
by
Willow Gates Landscaping
(IC: professional)
This combination was somewhat accidental. But look how the creamy accents on the petals of the iris echo the white variegation of the dogwood (Cornus 'Wolf Eyes) in the background. It's subtle, but sometimes it is these little combinations that really make the landscape! Sometimes you won't even notice it, but subconsciously it makes an impression.

Douglas Hunt on Feb 01, 2013I will confess that I have never liked the variegation in "Wolf Eyes," but this is a combination that might make me change my mind.
