Existing steel frame to convert to a pergola
The steel frame is make of 55x100 I-beams with 3 section of 3100mm x 7300 each - no supports between the sections.
I would like a open wooden "roof" to cover with shade net.

Is it possible to post a photograph? It sounds as though you might have to put in an additional support. Here is a link to a board which contains several examples of pergolas - maybe something might be able to help.
