I made this recipe and used it for the first time. I put vinegar in the bottom of the dishwasher and ran a load. I am sure that this is the cleanest that my dishes have ever been! Thank you for this recipe, I absolutely LOVE IT!

This tends to get hard lumps so i lay a piece of bread on top of the mixture in my plastic container.

Haven't tried this recipe yet, but what about letting it harden in ice cube trays? You would just put the cube in the bottom of your dishwasher.

I tried this recipe and it leaves my dishes spotty and coated with a film that is not acceptable to me. Need to find a better recipe than this one,

Does the salt etch the dishes?
