My Daughters Athletic Tee Shirt Collection Quilt

My daughter always loved playing sports. We collected all her sport team t-shirts over the years and also her theatrical performances
I decided to make a quilt of her younger years. It ended up being one of her college graduation presents.
Cut up all her tee shirts the same size and arranged them randomly
After pinning them all together I sewed them by rows and the the rows sewn together then choose a soft yellow backing and sewed it together like a duvet the stuffed it with batting and

Sewed it closed its wash able if needed you could spray scotch guard if you wanted but I choose to use it as a bedspread and as a warm throw. It ended up being quite large !!!

Will post final pic did not have the final in my memory card but you get the picture

I've made them with and without fusible backing. If the shirt fabric is fairly sturdy, the backing isn't necessary. Starch is really helpful in retaining the shape of the fabric! If fusible is used, needs to be the lightest weight available.
