How do you grow these from seeds, cuttings or what?

If you are in dire need of mosquito repellent look around for a semi mature plant. Spearmint and marigolds are good to fair for the same purpose.

Most of the time, greenhouses start these from cuttings. They are of the Geranium family, That is the answer to your question, but Lemon grass, basil, catnip and marigolds just to name a few are very good mosquito repellents if that is what you are looking for.
